WWE Raw Results - September 15, 2025: Cena Fired Up, AJ Lee Sparks Chaos, and Wrestlepalooza Looms

Springfield, MA — The final Raw before Wrestlepalooza delivered star power, promos that cut deep, and some important in-ring outcomes. But it also featured plenty of filler, with long stretches that felt more like a stage production than a red-hot go-home show.
John Cena Rallies Springfield
The second hour opened with a roar as John Cena made his way to the ring, greeted with thunderous chants of “Cena!” The Springfield crowd gave him a hero’s welcome as he reflected on his roots at nearby Springfield College. Cena declared he may be afraid of Brock Lesnar, but he will never back down.
“The last real Champion leaves this place better than they found it,” Cena said, promising to fight The Beast head-on at Wrestlepalooza.
This heartfelt promo set the stage for what WWE is billing as a generational clash: Cena vs. Lesnar, live on the ESPN DTC App.

Kofi, Xavier and "Big G" really need to learn a thing or two about RESPECT.

🗣️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take
This was a strange Raw. The highlights — Cena’s heartfelt promo, AJ Lee’s fiery exchange with Becky, and Penta continuing his dominance — all hit the mark. But the pacing dragged, with segments overproduced to the point where the show felt more like a Broadway play than a live go-home broadcast.
Still, the seeds are planted for Wrestlepalooza. Cena vs. Lesnar feels massive, Rollins/Lynch vs. Punk/AJ has real fire, and the tag division’s chaos adds depth. The filler? Not so much. WWE can’t afford to miss on Saturday, especially with ESPN executives framing Wrestlepalooza as the next 'WrestleMania'.
