WWE SmackDown Results - September 19, 2025: Brock Lesnar’s Rampage, Title Matches, and a Fiery Contract Signing

The go-home episode of WWE SmackDown before Wrestlepalooza was pure chaos, with shocking destruction from Brock Lesnar, heated championship action, and a contract signing that ended in all-out war.

Brock Lesnar Opens SmackDown With Destruction

The show kicked off with Michael Cole being summoned backstage for Brock Lesnar’s “sit-down interview.” Before Cole could even make it up the aisle, Lesnar stormed out.

The Beast hoisted Cole onto his shoulder like a ragdoll, dumped him in the ring, and then turned his fury on Corey Graves, who tried to help his partner. One F-5 flattened Graves… followed by a second, devastating F-5 after Lesnar grabbed the steel steps.

Lesnar raged into the camera, yelling that tomorrow is “D-DAY” and he’s “coming for blood” against John Cena at Wrestlepalooza. He even destroyed the ringside Prime hydration stand for good measure.

Backstage, Lesnar was all smiles with Paul Heyman, but GM Nick Aldis warned him not to cause further chaos before tomorrow’s contract signing.

Michael Cole returned to commentary visibly shaken, admitting he had “never felt so helpless” in his career and openly questioning if Cena can survive what awaits him tomorrow.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair (c) def. Chelsea Green & Alba Fyre
The challengers nearly stole the win after isolating Alexa, but Flair’s hot tag turned the tide. Charlotte hit Natural Selection on Chelsea Green for the pinfall to retain the titles.

Street Profits Backstage Segment

B-FAB tried to mend fences between Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, but Bo Dallas whispered doubt into Dawkins’ ear. Ford shoved him, only for Erick Rowan to appear and lay out the Profits with his hammer.

Bron ’n Bron Connection vs. Fraxiom

Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed def. Axiom & Nathan Frazer
After Fraxiom hit dives early, Breakker and Reed regained control. Reed finished Frazer with a crushing Tsunami splash.

Post-match, Heyman gloated until The Usos appeared on the tron, promising to welcome the Vision faction into the Uso Penitentiary tomorrow at Wrestlepalooza.

In-Ring Promo: Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton & Jade Cargill

Nia Jax ran down the division and called herself the “alpha female,” targeting Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill. Stratton interrupted, declaring herself the only true champion, before Jade stormed out and decked security guards.

Nick Aldis restored order, announcing the highly-anticipated Triple Threat Women’s Championship Match will now take place next week on SmackDown in Orlando instead of previously rumored for Wrestlepalooza.

WWE United States Championship

Sami Zayn (c) def. Carmelo Hayes
A fast-paced, dramatic back-and-forth saw near falls on both sides. Hayes connected with a frog splash, but Sami kicked out and rallied with the Blue Thunder Driver to retain.

Damian Priest Attacks Kit Wilson

In a backstage segment, Kit Wilson called out WWE’s “toxic masculinity.” Damian Priest proved his point, chokeslamming him through drywall after demanding Aleister Black tomorrow night.

Contract Signing: Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre

The night closed with an emotional, violent contract signing. Cody recalled their days as the “Dashing Ones,” while Drew seethed about being overlooked, calling Cody a manipulator and a “corporate champion.”

Tempers boiled over—McIntyre headbutted Rhodes, overturned the table, and the two brawled around ringside. Despite officials swarming, Drew booted Cody in the head and stomped him down, taunting that tomorrow would be the last time Rhodes holds the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

This was one of the most chaotic go-home shows in recent memory. Brock Lesnar’s rampage gave Wrestlepalooza the monster energy it needed, and Drew McIntyre’s venom made the contract signing feel personal and dangerous. Moving the Women’s Title Triple Threat to SmackDown next week protects Tiffany Stratton while giving WWE a chance to stack post-PPV TV. If tonight was any indication, Wrestlepalooza is going to be explosive.
